Hi, I'm Vanessa Olt, a Berlin-based business consultant and accountant. For the past 15 years I've worked with creative freelancers, design agencies and studios, and digital businesses on the part of running a business that so many don't want to look at: the numbers. Some clients call what I do "Therapy for your Finances." I think that's very accurate. Good accounting was never just about the numbers to me. It's about feeling stable and secure in your own business.

I've been running my own practice full-time since 2018, working closely with design studios like Dinamo Typefaces and HelloMe Studio, not only keeping their books clean but also building financial structures that grow with them. In 2025, I founded V.OLT to bring that same approach to a wider range of clients, in both German and English.

I don't believe in advising from a distance. You know your business better than anyone, so my job is to translate the numbers and help you bring your gut feeling and your actual numbers into alignment. I see myself as a sparring partner, not an authority talking down to you. There are no right or wrong answers here, and no right or wrong questions either.

What actually drives me is something I hear over and over: that deep sense of being alone with your finances. I want to be the person who takes that isolation away.
